‘Off the Wall’ began as an online community project on Monday 30 March 2020 to provide enthusiastic photographers in the Island with a weekly creative prompt, and ran in its first incarnation until Friday 11 September. During this time, 665 photographs were submitted by 194 photographers! Each weekday, a featured photograph was chosen which displayed the week’s theme, then a composite virtual Gallery of all submitted works was shared on a Friday to celebrate all the works that had been entered. These themes ranged from more abstract ideas such as ‘Home’, ‘Freedom’ and ‘Calm’, to more direct prompts such as ‘Coast’, ‘Wildlife’ and ‘Blue’.

So whether your work is featured in the exhibition, or you would just like to enjoy some beautiful photography, do come along and support this community project – there are so many wonderful images to discover!
