To commemorate Liberation Day 2021, Jersey Arts Centre is delighted to resume its extensive schools’ workshop programme with local primary schools.

After the success of the annual Holocaust Memorial Day, World Book Day and Christmas Show workshops we are now offering this new and exciting opportunity for students.

Last year, despite the pandemic, we were still able to offer workshops to over 1,000 students across
the Island and we look forward to continuing this and expanding throughout 2021!

Between 26 April and 14 May, Jersey Arts Centre will be delivering 22 workshops – lasting two hours – exploring Jersey’s Occupation History, Liberation Day and the Jersey 21 by offering primary school students the opportunity to engage with extracts from our 2005 Theatre-In-Education Occupation play: ‘Secret Weapons’.

If you have yet to book a workshop, and you are a Year 6 Teacher, please contact: Hettie Duncan, Education & Outreach Coordinator, on:
