When seeing Bob Mazzer’s pictures for the first time, they immediately speak of a well-remembered time and place – 80s London and travel on the Tube. For those familiar with it, this was an exciting and enthralling place – full of noise and menace – but often humour too.

Using projection, the spoken word and the iconic sounds of the moment, ‘Going Underground’ was recently performed at Jersey Arts Centre on 11 + 12 March 2020. Starting from Friday 3 April, and updated every Friday, six installments of this performance will be released via our YouTube channel, and will be available to watch here on our website too!
